Smarter Shipping Is Coming in M.O.M. 13 Genesis Release 2

The rates you quote, the carriers you choose, and the way orders are packaged can all affect operating costs, margins, employee productivity, and the customer experience. With M.O.M. 13 Genesis Release 2, arriving September 29th, we're introducing a collection of shipping enhancements designed to give merchants greater control over those decisions while making everyday shipping workflows faster and easier. Start with Your Negotiated Shippo Rates One of the biggest shipping enhancements in M.O.M. 13 Genesis Release 2 is the ability to use negotiated carrier rates returned through Shippo as the base freight amount during order entry. Why does that matter? When a CSR quotes shipping to a customer, the underlying freight rate should reflect the rates available to your business as closely as possible. Smart Tokenization is Here for the Freestyle BigCommerce Integration
Secure Payment Tokens for Faster Order Processing in M.O.M. 13 Genesis Freestyle Solutions is excited to introduce Smart Tokenization, a new capability for merchants using the Freestyle BigCommerce Integration, Freestyle Transact, and Authorize.Net Customer Information Manager (CIM). This module is an add-on feature that must be purchased separately. Traditionally, customers who want to save a payment method in BigCommerce must create an account, log in and choose to save their credit card during checkout. Many customers skip these steps, making it more difficult to reuse payment information for future orders. Smart Tokenization helps eliminate that barrier. When an eligible customer completes a purchase through your BigCommerce store using Authorize.Net, Smart Tokenization securely creates a reusable payment token without requiring the customer to log in or opt in to save their payment method. That token is then available in M.O.M., allowing your customer service team to process future eligible orders without collecting payment information again. Why It Matters Customer service teams spend valuable time processing repeat orders, replacements, exchanges, and phone orders. Re-entering payment information adds unnecessary time to those interactions.
