What is Freestyle Transact?

Freestyle Transact is a secure credit card payment processing application designed to integrate directly with M.O.M. 13 Genesis.  It processes transactions through Authorize.Net using tokenization, ensuring that sensitive card data is never stored in M.O.M.

Why was Freestyle Transact created?

Cybersecurity threats continue to grow, especially around payment data. Freestyle Transact was built to:

  • Eliminate the need to store credit card numbers in your system

  • Reduce PCI compliance scope and risk

  • Provide a modern, secure, and streamlined payment workflow

How does Freestyle Transact improve security?

Freestyle Transact uses Authorize.Net’s Customer Information Manager (CIM) to tokenize credit card data. This means:

  • Card numbers are never stored in M.O.M.

  • Sensitive data exists only briefly in memory during entry

  • Transactions are processed using secure tokens instead of card numbers

This architecture significantly improves PCI compliance and reduces exposure to data breaches.

How does Freestyle Transact work?

  • M.O.M. 13 Genesis calls the Freestyle Transact .NET DLL

  • A secure pop-up window opens for credit card entry
